Join a peer group for a safe space to get support.

Peer Support Groups

AndThenIWasFree offers confidential peer groups for those with lived experience in various areas of mental health, addiction, and identity. Groups are held virtually using Zoom and are facilitated by trained social workers.

Peer groups provide folks with a safe space to share and listen to others in similar situations. Groups are mostly unstructured to allow for organic flow of conversation, with facilitators present to help guide the discussion and highlight themes. Facilitators will not provide specific advice to any individual or to the group but rather will pose thoughtful questions to encourage dialogue.

Peer Groups are pay-what-you-can and are open to folks over the age of 18.
